Warmth.

Started lectures and classes on monday. I kindaAusmat and the lecturers. They were warmer and friendly but I guess tertiary studies is "strictly business". Was just reminicsing the other day (if you could call it that) 'bout the good times in Ausmat.

Almost every friday, we used to have English class. Jay, the lecturer, almost never comes on time- if at all. And our classes were about an hour. So we had to find something to do to keep us busy. A friend of mine suggested playing the "Alphabet Game". It was so freaking lame I tell you but aren't the lamest things the most fun? ; )


So a random alphabet is picked and you've to name something that starts with that alphabet from a given category within a given time limit. So we made the categories "Country, Animal, Fruit, Brand".

The letter "V" was selected and the clock ran. We were given 90 seconds - fair enough la right? Pre-university students sommore, lol. So i thought to myself.. "What the F**k? Why V? Why V? Omg.. how to pick la..". So I had an idea and asked if it was okay to do it. "Eh, Ram, can repeat my words ah?" and he replied "If it fits then can lah". Okay great.


My head was pounding and I was thinking of a country, an animal, a fruit and a brand. GAH.
The time zoomed pass and I had 10 seconds left.. So I do what Malaysians do best. Just ''hantam'' lah.. Then I was done la..

The points were measured and I got 4/4 points. Haha. The categories again, were Country, Animal, Fruit and Brand. I wrote Vladivostok Vagina Vagina and Vincci. I got a high five from my friends and we had a good laugh, lol.

Live Life.

Was pondering bout life the other day. Yeah, the usual stuff you guys think about too. What are we to achieve before our expiry dates? Was having a conversation with my mom the other day, that got me thinking.

Mom : Colin!! Clear the table, sweep the floor la - I have enough work as it is. No maid la, okay?
Colin : Yea yea, when I get older and make tons of cash, I'll buy you a RR and get you a driver along with a 8 butlers lah.
Mom : Haha, yeah, I'm hoping for that day to come. And uh, a SLK will do la, or any BMW Sports. One maid also enough la.


So I smiled and did what she told me to. But that got me thinking. Just realised that most of our dreams are based on materialistic needs. Well, maybe its just that most of us are kiasu OR we can't deny the fact that everything revolves around having money.

Anyway, back to my notion on our time on earth. I'd say, we have no roles. No individual roles, at least - just the typical ones. Taking care of your loved ones and et cetera. One more thing, c'mon, in this day and age, you cannot live without money. Go on, prove me wrong - or can you survive on love? Haha, bullshit.


I've asked tons of people what they would want in the later years of their life. Many of them say they want comfortable lives and a balance of everything and anything. Fair enough, I guess I want that too. What about being rich? Well, uh.. I guess most people wouldn't mind being rich but maybe its all the strings attached to being rich.

I'm going out of topic again, lol. Reverting back to the question, what to achieve? Personally, I dont think there's much to achieve except for personal purposes. There is no set path for you except the ones you set for yourself, really. I may sound naive and all, but think about it. The only limit is what our mind sets our for us.


I don't really want to achieve anything but I just don't wanna have said "I think I should've done that" later on. In the end, its not what you want to "achieve" that troubles people, its what they cannot OR how they want to live their lives. If living your lives include achieving something then Good Luck!

I guess I just grazed the surface of what i'm trying to pinpoint but that pretty much sums up the large picture. Enlighten me, leave comments. haha.

In Hokkien, "Chiobu" translates to "Girl". Well, I'm not referring to the immature, prepubescent sort. Put it this way, Chiobu translates to "Female". That sounds better. i) Colbie Caillat (coal-bee kuy-lay)



























Colbie Marie Caillat, daughter of Ken Caillat who is/was also a producer for the band Fleetwood Mac, born in California on the 28th of May, 1985. This 22 year old exploded into the music scene with her album "Coco". Her single "Bubbly" is currently on airwaves and radiostations.


ii) Katharine McPhee























Katharine Hope McPhee, the 23 year old hailiing from California. She has Irish, Scottish and German heritage and was discovered on the ever popular American Idol. She finished 2nd behind Taylor Hicks in the 2005 season of American Idol. Ms Gorgeous here isn't only nice on the eyes, heck she's nice on the ears as well.


iii)Katherine Heigl





Katherine Marie Heigl who has had an eventful career was born in Washington D.C on the 24th of November 1978 - meaning she's 29 this year.(for those of you who are too lazy to calculate her age =P). She used to be a fashion model and used to have a brother. In 1986, her 15 year old brother died in a car crash.

iv) Emma Watson.

















Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson, 15 April 1990(Yess, I'm older =P), infamous for her roles as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter saga. She was born in Paris and enjoys hockey and debating. Emma also has a certificate which allows her to scuba dive anywhere in the world. She also passed her first driving test on January 28th 2008. And she is HOT!
